Different types of containers for recycling

Recycling involves giving a certain object or material a new life. Today recycling is very simple since in all cities and in most areas, there are different types of containers where we must throw our garbage to be recycled.

  • Yellow container: plastics and cans

In the yellow container, there are the plastic containers, the cans and the cartons. For example, tin cans, soda cans, plastic caps, metal caps, and plates.

  • Blue container: paper and cardboard

From food packaging, to shoe boxes, through boxes of frozen products, wrapping paper or paper for daily use.

  • Green container: glass

We are talking about bottles, cologne jars, creams or food jars of any kind.

  • Brown container: organic waste

Food scraps, fruit skins, fish, plants, egg shells, coffee residue, hair, dust, etc.

  • Gray container: rest of waste

From toys, to used tissues, to bottles, diapers, pacifiers, kitchen utensils, pet litter, cigarette butts, dust, etc.
